Babylon

*“I had a good run, didn't I?”*Excessive in every aspect of filmmaking.  The ultimate movie experience. Wow.. just as exhaustingly exhilarating as the first time. I gotta say though: Brad Pitt is so good in this - love his performance and the arc his character goes through is tragic, but so real. I love what the characters represent in this film in general and how they’re presented definitely helps with the ambiance and depth you feel from them.  Everyone brought their A-game and this is a a movie that centres around the actors and their performances is more detrimental and important to the movie, than usual. I love how this movie looks. Probably some of the most noticeably impressive cinematography this decade, only other contestant is Dune maybe. The camerawork, score, set-prod, choreography and soundtrack all perfect in my eyes.. **Damien Chazelle’s best film without a doubt.  ** Overall, This movie is peak entertainment, it’s one of the most impressive movies ever made in my humble opinion, some of my favourite scenes in all of fiction are in this. Highly recommended if you haven’t watched it.. pretty much essential viewing this in my opinion.
