Berserk

I make the offering.”*Brutal, violent and really gay.  Thematically speaking this is up there with some of the best shows/films ever, one of the most immersive and interesting anime’s I’ve ever watched. While it mostly focuses on Guts, Griffith and Caska the character development they go through is astonishingly complex and well written. Guts might be one of my favourite characters in entertainment tbh. This is one of the best anime’s I’ve seen.  Still, It’s definitely not a perfect show as the side characters outside of the trio is heavily underused and there’s certain sequences which is really drawn out with questionable pacing. This show is incredible don’t get me wrong but the animation isn’t exactly incredible and lacks a certain detail to it as well.  Overall, Great and mesmerising story, well written protagonists and themes that I get were well directed. The setting is awesome and the last episodes might be some of the best in anime. Not perfect but still absolutely ridiculous how good this is at times. Highly recommend this is a must watch.
