Haven’t been able to stop thinking about this movie.. on rewatch I’m still a bit bewildered. A fucking banger of a movie tho but I’m a bit lost when it comes to the ending, it ends so abruptly but simultaneously it’s such great way to end it, it honestly reminds me of the ending of The Sopranos in a way lol as they’re both very ambiguous. I refuse to watch any explanation videos on movies like these, I abhor those type of videos and I think they kill any nuance or speculation you might have, the mystery behind it is completely destroyed by it. This is one of the most impressive and interesting films I’ve seen. Truly hypnotic from beginning to end and revisiting it in the middle of the night made it even better. Probably the best neo-noir I’ve seen. I’m sorry I’m actually obsessed, this is a 5/5 and probably the best movie I’ve seen all year. Who am I tryin’ to fool??
