Trier has done it again.
Brutally honest, well directed and crushing.. but also funny and entertaining. It’s like a Bergman movie with some comedic energy. I need some time to digest it tho.. but goosebumps! His best film to date.. metatextually intoxicating.. and while some of the symbolism might be lost in translation for an international audience I implore everyone to see it. Pretty cool having Renate Reinsve and Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas introduce the movie to us as well 🥳
