It’s been years (and a viewing of Chapter 2 and Welcome to Derry) since I last watched this, and it does standout as one of the best modern horror films. Skarsgard’s Pennywise is iconic, this has some of the best child comedic acting and great banter, and it looks great with many great tricks from Muschietti to ramp up the tension and creepiness. An excellent horror film.
