still fucking awesome.  i think lanthimos is my favourite working director alongside ari aster, this perfectly satirises the constant radicalisation constantly taking place online, while teddy wasn’t actually wrong he acted terribly, murdering god knows how many people before accidentally causing the death of his whole family. i feel like thats such a big thing to take from this, he actually had michelle figured out but because of how much sanity he’d lost getting there she won anyway, after second watch really positioned Don as the only sane person there, it made the suicide so much sadder, ultimately i think that this is a film u NEED to see twice, not because its confusing but because the emotional severity is so heightened with context of the ending.
