Review coming later.

It’s weird that despite my love of the original Raimi films (in particular **Evil Dead II**), I’ve never seen this. It’s even weirder that this film is pretty good. It has a lot more in common with the original **The Evil Dead**, but feels like a decent reboot, even if this never really spawned a franchise. You can’t do true Evil Dead without Bruce Campbell, so why bother trying? Make something new. Groovy.

Going back and re-visiting this, **Spider-Man: No Way Home **doesn’t even feel like a real film. This was probably the single most hyped-up release in history and I myself was extremely excited. The further we get from this and the further the MCU falls, the worse this seems. Some elements I love, such as Peter’s total sacrifice at the end and obviously Tobey, Andrew, Willem etc. But a lot of the decisions in this feel odd.
