"We're but children on this earth pulling out bolts of the ferris wheel thinking ourselves to be gods." ** Movie of the year **(2025) When I heard this was influenced by Terrence Malick I was intrigued but slightly wary as Malick films have never clicked with me (Albeit haven only seen two). However this blew me out of the water, people are obviously going to talk about the masterful cinematography as they should but this film has EVERYTHING. Dialogue as good as any, acting and plot that ripped my heart strings and submerged them into a bath of tears. Also the fact that William H Macy didn't get an oscar nomination for this eludes me, his minimal screen time is glorious. P.S This is the BEST Felicity Jones movie, NOT Rogue One.
