Thief
This is straight fire I’m the one to say it
Michael Mann outdid himself for his directorial debut.
From the visuals to the soundtrack to the writing everything holds such value. Every scene serves its own important purpose.
Let’s not forget James Caan, truly a breathtaking performance perfectly depicting a shallow hearted man and an expert of his tools who lives based off his own set of values to which near the end enhances his egotistical being.
This is unlike other heist movies it really settles in with one man and one heist which directs us to the importance. Futhermore, the use of tools and plans are set to real time scenarios which I found really cool giving the scene of a fast story line with a slow burn at times.
This is my first time doing a real review like this but it may not even make sense it’s just the movie is so good it motivated me to cook a review like this.
