ahh super good!! every actor was just perfect in this, especially the kid i have genuinely no idea how the fuck he was doing this so well had LOTS of little moments in here that i thought were interesting  being from the kids perspective was really cool!! seen that attempted in some other movies but those are about the victims directly and also the characters were older. this was just brimming with levity.  there are dozens of little things shown that are easy to look over but are still pretty impactful emotionally! one that stuck out to me was when he was walking down stairs for the first time and was struggling so much 🙁  i liked that they still showed how momma was adapting to everything aswell, and her having the kid around for everything makes sense too because him being around every second of the day is so normalized!! same thing with him just watching her shower.. i was like thats a bit strange but then started to think about its all she knows and stuff !!!!  every scene with the grandma was so touching, she was done very well in this! the haircutting scene brought out the tears a bit 🙁 some scenes were a bit forced, especially the whole interview they did and i wasn’t too fond of the last scene (extremely well acted by everyone though)  also didn’t really like the monologues, needed to do more or not at all; just kinda lazy and out of place score too was a bit generic idk main gripe was with the camera work though, just unimaginative and the one gimmick they had was used wayyyyyy too much EDIT: was looking on reddit after to see what people had to say and found this about the interview!!!  “The nod to her line in the interview about a father being a father because of what he does rather than biology was a nice reference to the difference in how her father and stepfather acted.” i completely missed this and don’t fully hate that scene anymore! wowowowowowow very cool connection EDIT #2  okay well, the other scene i didn’t like also had something that i missed !! you can see a hole where she previously tried to dig out before, that was previously covered up by the bed. how sweet  gonna bump it up to a 4.5  only major gripe was the narration scenes but those were short enough and i recently watched marcel the stupid annoying shell so they really arent even that bad
