WandaVision

a bit conflicted on this!! parts of it were really nice but i think it fell far too flat about halfway through. the episodic sitcom thing it was doing at the start was fantastic! it was a bit too style focused but it was almost always tolerable.  unfortunately it all started to crack when they were cutting out of it for real world stuff going on concurrently with the old timey stuff, without the stylization of the current era. the whole decades thing they were doing stopped working when they started to do that. the other thing i liked was all of the self discovery going on for both wanda and vision! and that all got ruined when they introduced a villan to this. it just became such a boring and soulless typical cgi action shitshow in the last couple episodes. DISSAPOINTING also the lack of consequences in this are glaring. big picture and small picture. just another little thing that makes this feel more insignificant to me also elizabeth olsens acting was terrible  i am more excited for the new fantastic four than i was before watching this though! i’m hoping the director found a better balance between style and substance 💪
