Death Note

This should have ended with Light vs L. It’s as simple as that. Killing L off just so Light can face off against someone who is just L but with white hair who isn’t established at all prior to that is… dumb. I guess that big reason was so they could jump forward in time but they didn’t need to really. It all just felt purposeless. But the creativity of the show and the drama and convulutedness (?) are for sure very fun. I did really like it, that just left a bitter taste in my mouth. There’s a whole lot to love here tho. The animation, the intrigue, the soundtrack, the art style, and Light is such a good villain, man.
