Sinners

My first watch of a 2025 film and it's an absolute banger. Despite the whole film taking place in one day I felt like I knew the main characters well enough which made the plot all the more impactful. The scene where Sammie played his music and you got to see the spirits from both the past and the future come alive was quite memorable. The racial commentary, horror and musical sequences were great and I'm glad to see that people are still making original and well crafted stories.
