The Orphanage

I don't even know what to say...I didn't expect for it to be so moving and poignant. The final act with Laura finally finding her son and being reunited with her childhood friends was quite touching. Definitely got me crying. There's so much I can praise about this film - how it explored the grief of losing a child, the horror elements, the metaphorical ( and in this case literal ) way we are haunted by the loss of our loved ones and so much more. There were several memorable moments and the lead actress especially gave a stellar performance. Truly a highlight of its genre
