Pride & Prejudice

Re-watching Pride & Prejudice after becoming a Succession stan was an interesting exercise. It’s hard to look at Mr. Darcy without thinking about “boar on the floor” or Tom pelting Greg with water bottles, buuut I will forever love this adaptation. True MacFadyen is no Colin Firth, but I think he nails the character (and the sideburns) anyway. All the other characters are also perfectly cast - especially Elizabeth and Lady de Bourgh - and I absolutely love the way the chaotic energy of regency balls is captured in all the dance scenes.
