Brokeback Mountain
This movie ruined me, every little detail the meaning behind the phrase
"jack I swear" which means "jack I swear I loved you as much as you loved me" the change from "but you wouldn't do it ennis" to "you didn't want it ennis" the fact that ennis never got the chance to spread Jack's ashes in the mountain and that they spent their whole lives trying to live that summer when they were 19 again. How ennis was so scared to be murdered if people found out he was gay only for his lover to die the same way. The fact that last thing they did was fight, and how elma always knew, and how anne hathaway filmed the scene where she tells ennis about jacks death twice once when she knew about them and the other where she didnt and they used clips from both and how ennis's daughter probably knew. And what kills me the most is that ennis loved no one like he hated himself This movie is a cinematic masterpiece and it's one of the few queer movies that isn't pure porn to please people's fetish but instead it actually has a deep story, and I'm so sad that it was mad into a joke by straight people they will never truely understand.
