About Time
Did not want to do a long review but fuck it.
“For me it’s always been about love” I noted down this quote straight away no clue why because I already know it but I feel like once you get to the end of the film key parts like this become clouded by the loss of his dad, his sisters accident, stressful work and even his children. The fact that about time serves as a story and a signal not a warning is only surface level and I have begun to realise that every lesson that Tim learns in the film is another layer that orbits love wether it is a sibling, a partner, a parent, a friend, to a farther or even love for life, every highlight, laugh or lesson always link back to love.
I also don’t feel like this film is there for something to want or have the opportunity to embrace, which is clearly something that is pointed out at the end but like why can’t I time travel for love, so cool 😪.
