A drug filled journey through the 70s and 80s that shows the rise and fall of a busboy with a big diggler. This movie is sleazy, dirty, and such a great watch. The whole cast deliver stellar performances in beautifully crafted scenes throughout. This movie journeys through every emotion from humor to dread, and flows so naturally doing so. The side plots in this film are spectacular and could hold up movies by themselves. I’m a sucker for 70s and 80s aesthetics, and this film is so well designed to fit that era. Terrific film through and through.
