Weapons

Amazing movie. It dives into what it’s about right away, which I really appreciate. It’s nice how it didn’t survive off of jump scares, and the jump scares they did have were really interesting. I’m glad they didn’t dig deeper into Gladys’ reasoning with the stick because it would just be another cult-involved backstory, which I’m personally tired of.  The cast is amazing and they all had great performances. The depth of the characters made me feel like I actually knew them, which made me feel bad for them, specifically Alex and Archer. This film was very well done, and I shed tears at the end when Archer carried his son.
