Oldboy

I'm absolutely floored. For editing and crazed acting chops alone I was goin to set this at a below masterpiece but damn it really pulled some sizziling flovar back into the story. Now this also is no true master quality I'd say, it just has so many of the right things happening at the right times. I was riding with the whole concept a lot mor ein the beginning until things started to get all vengency is where it got slightly messy but still readable (which was the point). An independent film like this going all out in that near 4 minute straight naturalistic hallway fight was impressive. All things considered, i didnt't know I'd be in for a psychotic drama rather than a action thrill ride. The revenge aspects to it all pay off so greatly but not hwo you'd expect. The grit paired alongside the airy melody is a palpable constrast to be sure. When ya think about it, who needs a tounge anyway when you still got to keep all your teeth. Lastly, how many incest twist movies does it take for me to not rate it a full five? (refering to Incendies) I'm getting concerned for my subconcious.
