Dune

Watched the release in IMAX, after just having finished rereading the first half of the book. I have got to say that differences between the book and movie now stood out to me more than ever before, obviously since my first couple watches were a while after I’d actually read the book. But I do think I can really say now that having read the book it helps so much with making the movie even better, because you can really notice and appreciate the nuance of every performance and thought laid out visually even more. Also getting the chance to see this in IMAX one more time is a blessing. I was way too close to the screen, and it being the largest in my country that really means something, but I could still appreciate it and view it well enough, sometimes even enhancing the experience because my entire field of vision was basically just screen. Now just to wait for part 2.
