The Sting

I think about this movie all the time. the score is actually so simple and good thanks hamlisch. and I was wxpecting on rewatch to be less impressed with redfords performance but actually I am empressed. the camera is so much more fluid than I remember and the script cons the audience in the same way that the heroes con the mark. i was shocked to find out it won like 7 oscars before i rewatched it but after rewatching it is really very fun and a great caricature of the 1930s great lakes midwest con artist scene in the same way that the sound of music is for preww2 europe.
