Superman

Unbelievably dense with so much rich comic book history represented with big personalities, bright colours and a corny plot which is used well as a vehicle for its themes. By being set in such an already realised world the film responds to superhero fatigue and is truly original. No film before has ever appealed to comic fans the same way this does, the film expects a decent amount of prior knowledge for the best experience.
