As someone who is pro Poor Things I was very excited to see Yorgos and Emma working together again.
Jesse and Emma are acting powerhouses in this movie. I loved the framing and use of music. Once you thought it was gonna calm down it made sure to catch you off guard.
If you had me choose between this and Poor Things I would choose Poor Things, but I thought this movie was great and I am excited to watch whatever Yorgos does next.
