Arrival
i haven’t revisited this since being on letterboxd and man, this is one of the best films i have ever watched.
amy adams shines in every second of it and shes complemented by some really good supporting work by renner and whitaker.
the linguistic lens, the one-of-a-kind heptapod design, denis being at the helm and that beautiful but aching score, it all makes for a truly singular experience.
still blown away on what is probably my fourth or fifth watch.
