Moon Knight
Oscar Isaac is absolutely fucking PHENOMENAL.
Moon Knight is hands down the best project Marvel released post-Endgame and probably (if not) its best tv show I’ve watched. He’s one of the drippiest characters in the MCU and Oscar Isaac played him so well. I mean, him playing 2 different versions of himself with different personalities and ACCENTS just proves his duality and exceptional acting. Not to mention, the chemistry with HIMSELF was remarkable.
I loved the setting and aesthetic — a fun change of pace, with the Egyptian themes. Moon Knight’s storyline and backstory were also pretty nice but there were some scenes that were confusing. Had a bit of sloppy writing. Great ideas, but lack of execution. Despite what is clearly some poor direction, the whole thing worked largely worked because Oscar Isaac can sell about anything.
For Moon Knight material, it had great moments but was kinda short. Maybe if it had been a full series rather than a mini, they'd have more time to implement some ideas.
Overall, it’s a very good MCU show and I love the awareness of mental illnesses. Though not sure how accurate this mental disorder is. Just wished everything didn’t feel so rushed. Also, I am SO upset they canceled season 2. Shame, I was so hyped and interested about his characterrr🫠.
Im just a shameless Oscar Isaac fan. Idc he’s goated.
