Barbarian

it’s a slow-burn horror that’s scary but also pretty weird. even with the volume at zero and subtitles on, it still managed to make me tense and uncomfortable. the cinematography was actually really effective, a lot of lingering shots and quiet framing that made everything feel eerie and uneasy. the plot takes its time to unfold and while the atmosphere works, the pacing felt slow and the characters didn’t leave much of an impact on me. by the end i was still confused and had to read an explanation for it to fully click. it didn’t completely hit for me but it stayed interesting and genuinely unsettling.
