took me long enough to start a new romcom and this one literally made my whole day. smtg pulls me to watch this cs how im so relatable to emma (avoidant). the plot was okayy laa i’ve seen a better ones but this one is simple, well explained. the acting was not bad too. this ranked 4th in my romcom series kot idk i didnt really get sentimental about the whole movie but i totally relate to her situation. few things i don’t like tho is when she literally mentioned her heart skipped a beat in the car on the date but when it comes to adam’s turn saying im started to falling in love w you, she literally pushes him without letting him say anything. like some kind of defence mechanism. but i understand her tho i just don’t like how she acted that way. “i guess i just didnt wanna feel like this, it hurts” yeah that line says a lot about her being avoidant. people like emma are often misunderstood, they thought she was being mean by pushing him away and just using him for pleasure, but the truth is she’s just scared to fall in love.  -adam chose to leave bcs he also didnt want to over beg -dislike scenes his dad also fucking his ex like that was so unnecessary  -most of us forgot that when emma met adam at the hospital she confessed without holding back despite adam having girl’s around and she didny bother to ask where she is (in her mind she was his new gf) so that part is kind of missed out on scripting -we often noticed the comfort in others when they left us. -scenes colour  -they made it real (real life situation) like it were directed by someone who has experience it
