Hero
*“People give up their lives for many reasons”
**“For friendship, for love, for an ideal”
*“And people kill for the same reasons”
This very well may be the greatest film ever. The score, the sound design, every single set piece and the cast is perfect. The way colour is used here would get you killed nowadays, it is truly incredible. The fight choreography is so brilliant in this with some of the most gorgeous backdrops I’ve ever seen. Jet Li as Nameless truly phenomenal supported by 2 of the greatest in Tony Leung and Maggie Cheung who I think should just be in every movie ever honestly. Zhang Ziyi another great in a supporting role that brings effortless brilliance. What a film
