Two Hands

This is the most 2000’s Australian film you’ll ever see and they really don’t make them like they used to. Heath Ledger, Bryan Brown and Rose Byrne is such an awesome trio of Aussie names and just seeing them in this stylistic action thriller is just fun as hell. Hearing all these iconic Aussie slang terms on screen actually just brings me so much joy even the terms that have certainly died out since the 2000’s. Those final 5 minutes are so awesome with the neon lit hallway, Powderfingers ‘These Days’ needle drop and zoom into the eyeball transition that just always hits like crack. Fun use of different shots throughout which just adds to the style and sauce of this movie.
