Look Back

They were girls together  Absolutely beautiful animation, so fluid and so expressive. The plot is truly heartbreaking yet heartwarming. The world doesn’t end at every tragedy and you should keep on going no matter what. If Kyomoto wouldn’t have come out her room, maybe the end would have been different but so would have been all the joyful and beautiful memories, the shared joys and the growth she had with Fujino. Fujino wouldn’t have lived this happiness and success either. Sometimes life is unfair but still beautiful.  Fujimoto, Oshiyama, you both did it again. Ripping our hearts after lighting a spark and all of that packaged into a poetic and beautiful art.
