watching up (2009) as an adult has made me realized love transcends time, even after the death of your lover, even after you keep their wish, and even after letting go of a piece of home. our society is bombarded with the cisheterosexual relationships but this felt so natural—so authentic to witness how love is omnipresent and i think it's cute that the queer self in me giggled over their bond.
