Arrival

Arrival is an alien movie. It is not like most alien movies however. It is interesting because, while the plot of the movie is about aliens, it is full of symbols and metaphors. I enjoyed it and thought it was one of Amy Adams' best performances. However, I did not find it as moving as others do. It all seems a little too much. It fails to develop the Heptapods and their problem and instead uses them to convey Louise's story. 74/100
