Corpse Bride

Easily one of the best movie i ever watched It was just so beautiful to look at. I absolutly adored the way they did the stop motion. It was just so expressive, even with the face expression of the character. You could see how they were feeling. The character designs too. They were all soo good. I espacially loved the designs in the after life. It's pretty ironic actually that the afterlife was way more colorful then the living world. Espacially at the first song in the afterlife where the squeletons were singing the story of Emily. They really showed what they could do with the stopmotion. I tought it was cgi for a sec. It was so fluid and expressive. I absolutly adored it. It was also really funny to me. Like i loved all of the jokes they made with death. Espacially when Victor told his DEAD DOG to play dead and the dog just looked at him and he apologized. Like i wasn't expecting this comedic level on this movie specifically. The lines were also soo deep. Like why every single Emily says hits. I adore Emily sm. She just wanted to be a bride but her dream were taken from her. In the end i'm happy she didn't got with Victor but i still wanted to see her own happy ending. The ending was really bittersweet. I was happy for Victor and Victoria. They loved each other from the start. In another hand, Emily was left all alone. I mean Emily and Victor were clearly not meant together. Victor loved Victoria, and only her. Emily wanted to have a husband, but she was forcing another man in her fantasy. She never loved Victor either. She loved the idea to have a husband. This is what makes the ending worse then it already is. They were never meant to be. Emily understood that when she saw Victoria's eyes. That why she moved on to finally rest in peace. I absolutly hated Lord Barkis. He first kills Emily, then stole all of her money and then do this to other women?? Like hello?? How can someone be this heartless. I'm happy he lost at the end but my god his last words were horrible.> "but first a toast to Emily, always the bridesmade never the bride. Tell me my dear, can a heart still break once it's stopped beating?" I cried at this wth. And the face Emily makes omg.. I'm happy he atleast got his demise but even after loosing he still got the nerve to do one last showdown to break Emily's heart. The ending was beautiful. Emily looking one last time to the married couple and becoming butterflies to disapear in the moonlight. That last scene was just beautfiul and peacful at the same time. I coudn't speak at that moment. I was just crying honestly. The perfect ending really. This movie really has a special place in my heart. I don't think i ever felt so many emotion in a single movie. Geniunly i adore this movie sm..
