Owen Loos

Genuinely amazing and so so like engaging. The conflict of what he truly wants and how he wants to live I loved. And he never admitted what he did too omds had me on edge so much Yeah it’s really sad, then it’s like really profound and peaceful; it’s just really really good icl Love riz Ahmed

Yeah this ain’t it, a rocky movie with no boxing fight come on. Nothing really amazing going on here

*This review may contain spoilers.* I liked it I really did, but for me I just can’t say it’s not the worst yet, it’s a great 80s film, where nothing means anything, it’s funny, heroic, but for a rocky film and what we’re used to, there’s nothing new here, and there’s no real wow moment when rocky won, I didn’t believe he was gonna win, but when I saw him start to, there wasn’t this moment like there has been for every other movie. I feel for Ivan, he’s a puppet for a political fight rather than an actual fighter, basically forced to train like a machine, with no recognition of his hard work, but him as a villain or whatever he’s supposed to be viewed as, seems a bit bland for me. Sure clubber lang last movie was basically a comic book character, but the emotional core of Rocky’s camp and story with Apollo and Adrian and micky made up for it. Here, Apollos story doesn’t add anything, and feels a bit cheesy like how has he died in an amateur fight why have they not stopped that. Yeah Adrian is just chilling here, and I don’t feel the drive for rocky to win this one, it felt meaningless. But all that to say, I still did enjoy it, it was a fine movie, just not near the levels I expected or hoped for.

This is the best of the 3 I loved it so fucking much. The fight was the best, seeing rocky just go mental on clubber and not be phased by any punch. The first one was about endurance, the second about drive and determination, and this about resilience and pace. Him and Adrian had emotional moments, I loved Apollo being on the good side now, I liked his character so to see him back in this new role is so nice, and yeah I can’t wait to watch the 4th
