Probably my favorite title sequence and ending credits in film history.It had been awhile since I had last seen this. But coming back to it now after having seen so many more films, I recognize how influential and masterfully made this film truly is. From the gritty imagery to the small details in Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman’s characters I definitely enjoyed this so much more than last time.I had never recognized how well this film uses Noir, tropes and imagery to create a very compelling and engaging experienceAlso I hadn’t previously recognized how well the comedic bits in the earlier parts of the movie work so well so that when they are finally dropped in the third act, the climax has so much more of a dark and intense effect. One of the best.
