this movie is extremely unsettling in a very strange way, i have never seen anything like it and i don’t think i ever will Bergman is really good at creating tension  in very unconventional ways. there are more than a few scenes in this movie that are terrifying yet you can’t stop watching. the actresses in this film are phenomenal, seriously some of the best performances ever.  i feel the need to rewatch this, maybe a few times to understand more of what it means, but this was so much better than i had anticipated.
