The Shining

can’t believe i’ve never seen this before, obviously i was familiar with the ending and the iconic scenes, but even with those spoilers this movie was still amazing. definitely my favorite Kubrick film, seeing his work in imax is just incredible, no one has ever made movies look as good as him and on the big screen it looked even better. also the score was crazy, hearing it on the huge speakers was absolutely terrifying and made every scene so much better. performances were great all around, even the kid was surprisingly good. easily one of the best movies of all time.
