The Thing

Genuine classic and masterpiece of horror and one of my favorites of the genre. One of if not the best in the cosmic horror sub-genre which is very rare when a good cosmic horror movie comes along that can encapsulate the feeling so well. It articulates the subtle and overwhelming feeling of, anxiety, and paranoia, not just in the characters but the audience as well by using great filmmaking tactics and acting, cinematography, thrilling set design, and especially the suspenseful soundtrack.
