Do the Right Thing
Even more relevant today than it was 35 years ago. Don't think I've ever seen a movie that is both visually stunning while also having an airtight script - usually it's one or the other, but somehow, this film seems to blend both perfectly. Ernest Dickerson's eye for composition and his magnificent use of wide-angle lenses and handheld shots adds to the tense and stifling energy of Brooklyn in the dog days of summer.
Go watch this movie, PLEASE.
Also, watch this with no air-conditioning to get the 4DX experience :)
