Hacksaw Ridge

10/10 My favourite war film of all time, based on a true story which I love too. Andrew Garfield does an amazing job of playing Desmond Doss, really showing his passion and courage during World War II. This man literally was a war hero without carrying a fucking gun, like what!? He saved 75 lives without firing a shot! Despite facing tough and demotivating challenges due to his beliefs, Garfield's performance is perfectly supported by Vince Vaughn. This film is more than your average war film, it dives deep into the strength of the human spirit and Desmond’s courage and sacrifice to save lives. Desmond Doss is an absolute war hero, and this film perfectly shows viewers what an incredibly brave and strong man he was. Perfect film.
