Train to Busan

Horror Marathon Day 18: 10/10. Wow wow wow, I can’t believe I didn’t watch this sooner. This is now officially my favorite Korean film and zombies film ever. First of all, zombies are never perfectly done in films but they absolutely smashed them in this film, it kind of reminded me of the World War Z game, where hordes and hordes of zombies are rampaging towards the civilians. The CGI was also incredible, especially the fire train and when the zombies smashed through things like windows. Alongside that the camerawork was perfect for majority of the scenes.  I never thought a zombie or horror film could be so emotional but this got me, some scenes in particular were incredibly sad. This film really portrays perfectly how humans would react if the apocalypse came out of nowhere. Overall this was an incredible action filled, emotional zombie film and is one of the best films I have seen in a while. Dare i say, masterpiece.
