Shunji Iwai casually dropped in 1994 one of his first works of art, between fetishism and psychologism, in only 40 minutes he manages to convey the despair of a man whose lover’s fate is already sealed. Was it a metaphor about his negligence toward her or was she actually sick? None really matters cause they both end up* tied up* to their own selfdestruction.
