Star Wars

**Rewatching StarWars again: ** A New Hope is probably the greatest StarWars movie by a mile. Rewatching it last night I was blown away by all the technical elements that I didn’t understand even a few years ago. Every sound and effect used is just incredible. The makeup, costumes, practical effects etc are still top notch. The prequels don’t even hold up this well and those were made in the 2000’s. Although I really don’t like Lucas’s writing, A New Hope is written VERY well. Every time A New Hope is brought up in conversation, I always bring up Leias “aren’t you a little short for a stormtrooper?”. I know it’s a small line but it is one of my favorites in all of film. I still have a problem with the force in StarWars but rewatching the original, I love the mystery around it. The prequels just had to tear that down and make it something explainable. Overall, A New Hope will never be touched.
