The Evil Dead

“Kill her if you can, loverboy!” 91/100 SPOILER ALERT Evil Dead is and will always be one of if not the best horror franchise in my opinion in terms of consistency, Evil Dead is my biggest exception of the possession sub genre because it’s so unique and fun. The camerawork in this is just really nice it feels amateurish but so well done, I love the plot and how straight to the point the entire franchise is, Ash is my favourite protagonist Ripleys a close second ( super badass cat mom vs one liner filled chainsaw man ) this is my least watched movie in the franchise or maybe tied, I know I’ve seen army and 2 the most.  The film lacks most writing wise I will not deny that but I can get over it a little because I fucking love this, there are so many cool shots in this I could but won’t talk about but my favourite scenes are the chainsaw montage and the ending where everyone starts to rot, puss then melt is honestly some of my favourite effects.
