I don’t even know what to think. The second hour is much better than the first, with the first being pure buildup. This movie explains absolutely nothing, which I don’t really mind. The issue is it allowed the protagonist's circumstances to be up to imagination. I really like the brutality of the movie. Micheal Fassbender and Penelope Cruz were the highlights. But to be fair the acting was nothing spectacular. The ending was good, but the movie just is so unresolved. The idea of how one bad decision can destroy your life was executed kind of just averagely, some highs though. So overall it’s a really just ok movie, but the brutality and some of the moments are good. I want to say 31/2, but it’s really in all honesty a 3.

Really cool movie. I didn't understand it and couldn’t recite the plot. But, a great vibe, theme and tone. Very unpredictable. Super confusing. But it was really fun. The movie runs in such an odd and unconventional way. But its vibe is so cool. Live the ending too. I think fundamentally, because I barely understand it, I’ll say a 31/2. All good acting too. I was constantly a good level of entertained and engaged, but also I don’t feel resolved, considering my confusion. So I’ll say 4.

Not sure what to say. It’s not as good as I remember l, the first hour is really good, but then it kinda slows till the end. Never boring, mostly a good level of entertainment and engagement. Really good vibe,theme and tone, super believable 1970s. I liked the end a lot. Denzel Washington and Russel Crowe give good performances, but nothing crazy. This movie is super solid, and aside from the slow moments and being a bit too long, is a good gangster movie. So it is a bit average, but also no major flaws, good plot and acting, and very consistent. Maybe I’m forgetting some stuff, but I’ll say a 4,possibly should be a 31/2.

Honestly, I don't know what I think. Really dark, kinda campy tone,theme and vibe, really great. I think Harrison Ford is maybe even better than the first. I enjoyed the opening 30 minutes, very solid. But then it kinda slows, still good, with a nice mystery, then it picks up excellently, but after that it gets chaotic, but not as intimate. So I don’t really know, I was never bored, mostly a good level of entertained and engaged l, and I love the vibe and tone. So I’ll say 4, maybe 31/2.
