Dune: Part Two
Wow, pretty good. Much more consistent then the first, but still has the assumptions, implications, and confusion, if not more. It constantly kept me, and a great third act. Had a bunch of flaws, some bad moments, but was visually pretty notable. Had some great moments, and some really good characters . At times felt a bit like a knock off avatar. It’s pretty good, not great, but good. Never was bored. I feel like I’m missing stuff to say, but this should be good. Austin Butler was the highlight, pretty much all the flaws of the first, but higher highs and lows, more entertaining and consistent. Could be a 3 ½, as the first two acts were good, but not great. But then again, for a nearly three hour movie, it felt less than two, but that could be other factors.
