Mystic River

It’s a pretty great movie. The first hour is expertly paced and shows a great response to loss. The second hour slows but is still great. I enjoyed the twists and turns, but they weren’t as good as the emotional moments. The conclusion was great, but slightly disappointing and I loved the ending. Overall, the movie was great, it had great acting, some slow moments, great emotional moments, but this came at the cost of an equally good mystery. But, the mystery was still pretty good. Great acting and characters too. Maybe it’s a 4, but idk a 4 ½ seems right.
