The Prestige
Undeniably well crafted. Solid acting, with a good setting, theme, tone and vibe, all solid and somewhat unique. I like the darker tone aswell. Great ending too. Good twists and turns, and the movie's structure built good engagement. The movie was mostly engaging, and generally somewhat entertaining, some parts dragged or were boring, but never bad. The movie had lots of great moments, but for much of the movie it was only just moderately entertaining, really nothing crazy. I also do not like how the premise of the movie is built on character motivations which could have just been talked out, same with the conflicts of the movie. But overall it was pretty good. The characters were mostly pretty good, but were not built up or introduced enough/ backstory to be attached and understand them.
