X-Men

A top tier superhero movie. Top notch villain and theme and tone. It mixes a 90s/early 2000s vibe with being futuristic with tones of like Jason Bourne spy thriller. It also has this hard to describe sci-fi tone, like almost biological. Well paced, entertaining, fun and keeps your attention the whole time. Fantastic interactions and dynamics. No real issues, great soundtrack and tone and theme. The movie mixes being realistic, futuristic and sciffic so damn well. Aged very gracefully for a superhero movie. Fanatic themes and tones, the villains historical connection are very intelligent. The movies surprisingly depthful and intricate. The ending ran on a bit, but the conclusion was good. I think what makes it special is how well it places you into this world, which isn’t too far from our own.
